Automatic backwash filters are pre-filtration systems used to filter suspended solids in water.

Particles accumulate on the inner sieve surface as water passes through. These particles are cleaned by the water vortex during filtration.

The vortex flow is created by the helix located at the inlet of the filter. The particles accumulated on the screen surface are swept to the drain section by the vortex flow and accumulate there. When the backwashing process starts, these accumulated particles are quickly discharged from the filter, thus cleaning the filter.
