-Lime is one of the parameters that causes the most problems in water.

-Limescale is mostly caused by calcium and magnesium ions found in water. It accumulates on the inner walls of water pipes, causing a narrowing of the cross-section and an increase in load losses.

-These ions, especially due to their corrosive effect, can cause blockages in pipelines, limescale formation on the bottom of heaters after boiling, stain formation on products after washing, and when consumed, they can cause stomach, intestinal and skin disorders, and the damage they cause to human health, which is often irreparable, is one of the most important problems caused by lime.

-With water softening systems, calcium and magnesium ions dissolved in water that cause hardness are removed from the water by means of a special resin, thus removing lime from the water.

-Softening systems automatically perform regeneration processes according to flow rate/time without any intervention according to the set values. The resin that reaches saturation enters regeneration with salt water in a time/flow rate controlled manner and is purified from calcium and magnesium ions.
